Veterinary neurologist Susan Wagner, DVM, MS, co-author with Joshua Leeds of Through a Dogâs Ear: How to Use Sound to Improve the Health & Behavior of Your Canine Companion, will be the featured guest on NBCâs Today Show tomorrow, July 11. Dr. Wagner will share her research on how acoustically designed music can help pets cope with common phobias such as thunderstorms, household noise, or water. Other guests include an animal behaviorist and four dogs accompanied by their human companions.
Through a Dogâs Ear: How to Use Sound to Improve the Health & Behavior of Your Canine Companion  is a book and CD based on clinical research into the effect of the human soundscape on our canine companions. Co-authors Dr. Wagner and Joshua Leeds, together with concert pianist Lisa Spector, were featured on CBSâ Early Show in February.
